Either way these last two games are far from sure wins. I thought the Blues needed to win that game. That was a much more favourable lineup to play even if it was just Leon not playing. I hope it doesn't end up being a missed opportunity.

Agreed, but that pass from McJesus was unreal and nobody saw that coming. I think we could have won in OT.

Too many complained about Joseph losing the puck at the point vs The Jets but that was just the 1st goal. I think the godly Buchnevich tried sloppy passes in our zone for the 2nd goal so I look at our play in the defensive zone -often where Faulk has been because he is overplayed.

Neither Dvorsky or Snuggerrud are making up for Holloway. Hollywood and Kyrou were quite a tandem and that is who we miss-this combo. Too many poor passes on both ends of the ice, so with Calgary dominating we need to dominate and win both games and I am a natural worrier and we need a perfect game. Is go with the guys who brought us the streak and save Dvorsky & possibly Snuggie (if coach thinks he is better than Texier) for the playoffs. Joseph has played for Stanley Cup winner and plays defense and blocks shots. I don’t think we get enough from the rookies-although I can see if something that Snuggerud is better than Texier. My frustration let out as Calgary is just is disappointing. Call me a pessimist if you want.

At this point, Calgary might as well score so many that they punch themselves out and hopefully demoralize the Wild at the same time. lol

If you didn't know better, you'd think the Wild were on the take. What a pathetic performance.

Literally looked like they'd rather being doing something else. I couldn't even watch more than 10 minutes was so pathetic.

As an aside I just looked and the Blues are 13th at Goals For and Against.
What is crazy is that the Habs are a - 21 and Calgary is - 23 and THEY COULD BOTH BE IN THE PLAYOFFS. 8O

As far as I can tell we really didn't even need to win but just make it to OT and then we would only need 2 points even if the Flames win out. It seemed like the Blues were not even aware of the importance of that point.

Its was really unacceptable for that to happen, its very plausible the entire season was on the line with 30 seconds left, we have the pucks on the north end of the ice, all we have to do is not give up a goal and couldn't get it done. Seems woefully unaware of the situation.

The Flames have the Sharks next. And then Vegas and Kings to close.

They are not likely to win all 3 of those, are they? Vegas likely will have little to play for, but the Kings might.

Meanwhile, the Wild play @Canucks and Ducks at home. They'll be favored to win both, but I'm not so sure about that road game. But they own the RW tie breaker.

Wasn't just that game. They have to lead the NHL in goals allowed (empty netters not counting) in the last minute of the game. Faulk's been a huge part of the problem with this and his propensity for trying to flip blind backhanders out.

OMG Calgary do NOT let this get tied up! 4-2

I am completely with you, Skilles. How many games did we give up a last minute or two goal to cost us at least 1 point...a crucial point. Faulk and company blew it. And Binnington maybe is overused. For all the fabulous saves he made, he has let up some cripplers too . Sure looked like a floater to me that he could have gotten at least hisbocy in front of..but I agree...if we are playing as hard as we did during the streak..we steal the puck more and don't give it back for the other team to push up ice again.

OK- I feel like a back seat driver.

Minnesota could have clinched and played Mild. One game at a time, but if the Blues don't win both they will need a gift.

If the Blues are a good team, they can buckle down and win two games. That’s what they have to do if they get no more help from Wild or Flames. Tomorrow is the game for me. Blues must win that game for many reasons.
