I'd take Bolduc over Neighbours for the 3rd lines simply because Bolduc is more responsible defensively to date and those two are going to need help.

The left stick Dvorsky feeds the right shot Snuggerud more efficiently. And the right stick Thomas feeds the left shot Bolduc...as if that really matters for Thomas with his overall ability. And Neighbours provides a physical checking protection and net front distraction for the youngsters. Which line do you call your Top Line, or 2nd Line?...how about just top 3 scoring lines to be matched according to the opponent?

Regarding to other comments re Snuggerud has an All-Star shot, but what else...it kind of reminds me of a young known-name player out of the University of MN-Duluth almost 40 years ago with whom similar questions were brought up.

It's a fun time to be a Blues Fan.
Personally, I'd split Dvorsky and Snuggerud up.
That's too much youth and inexperience to put on one line.

Buch-Thomas-Snuggerud

There are ways to get Neighbours and Bolduc more ice time to avoid labeling them "3rd liners".

Perron's 1-timer was absolutely lethal in his latest stint as a Blue. But it's something he had to learn over time.

To answer the original question; yes, Jimmy absolutely has the 1-timer and IMO it's already at the level of Perron's peak.

Yes, it's a highlight reel; but it gives you a very good look at his offensive tool kit. When it comes to shooting the puck, Snuggs can pretty much do it all.

I forget what recent tourny he was in (world juniors?) but I focused on him and it appeared to me he went out of his way to backcheck, forecheck..etc

skating didn't look bad to me, but sss. the shot... well, as you said, it's NHL ready right now

The Blues will certainly let the players that have created this winning streak continue playing until they clinch as spot in the playoffs.

But you could see a situation where a couple rounds into the playoffs, players get hurt and Dvo and Snuggerud have to play. That would be wild.

Holloway-Thomas-Bolduc I think these guys could light it up together with their play styles meshing well and their offensive skill.
Buch-Dvorsky-Kyrou Vets with a young skilled C but puts pressure on Dvorsky to perform.
Neighbours-Schenn-Snuggerud Gives Snuggerud a veteran C to play with. My one concern would be speed on this line and Schenn's season was saved once he was paired with guys who can skate.
Sunny-Faska-Torp/Joseph Might not re-sign Faska but always good to have depth at C.

Those middle two lines probably play very similar minutes 5v5.

I don't see Snuggerud on the top line or DD at #2 C to start next year. Penciling in rookies in top 6 seems like wishful thinking. What I could see is bringing in someone like a 'Grandlund type' to bridge the gap, as DD develops, while Snuggerud plays 3rd line or is in Springfield.
I know things look and feel good now, but penciling in youth expected to play top 6 rolls, while getting on the job training, seems a little short-sighted, and might leave the team in a jam without alternatives. Another vet who has the speed to play C for another year would be a key addition for the team, and possibly for the development of DD.
