Great job by Oli, keep the pressure on the kid by hitting him leadoff instead of dropping him to #8/9 where he MIGHT feel less pressure.

If the Cardinals had any other option, you would have to consider sending Winn down until he gets his footing. 2 more Ks today. He just seems lost at the plate with no sign of things getting any better but the Cardinals just don’t have another option.

Moving him down in the order seems like an option but would it really help? He’s just flailing away.

He absolutely should be moved down the order. 9th spot until he starts hitting again.

Maybe let him leadoff against LHP.

I don’t know if Brown has hurt or helped but Winn just seems overmatched. It’s not like he’s facing Nolan Ryan in these games. Some good pitching but some bad pitching too. The pitcher doesn’t really seem to matter though.
