12 of those in January are the IFA signings for 2025.
Every team does that every year to some extent.

Since most of them are slotted into the minors, Bloom probably had his hand in much of it. Don't know how many will be any good, but the activity seemed to be there.
You forgot we signed a bunch of beer vendors and some ushers to help people find the multitude of empty seats. Probably hired a toasted ravioli cooker or two along with some ticket agents....nah probably had to lay off half the ticket agents....but hell what a busy offseason.

What'd be funny, in a kinda sad way is if we could find all the other list Cranny has posted on here in the past.
One thing is for sure, he doesn't learn from them, and has before denied some of the prospects/players he tried to hype.
Anyway, whatever.

No what is stupid is you! The MLBPA was getting to register a complaint on the Cardinals because of LACK OF SIGNING PEOPLE!!! So they signed Maton for a pittance. And you claiming minor league signings that everyone does every offseason AND FRIGGIN INTERNATIONAL SIGNINGS as a busy offseason. Stupid as stupid does...your momma always said that.

OMGosh does your front office b u t t kissing know no bounds?

There's ONE, ONE PLAYER on that list of nobodies that matters (Phil Maton) and it took being shamed by the MLBPA for them to sign him.

BDWJr STIFFED the fan base this season by slashing payroll knowing he's looking at losing 500,000 - 1,000,000+ in attendance if the team fails to comete for the NLC.

How does this compare to last year’s offseason (sans the mlb signings)?

It’s a riot how simply posting a list of offseason signings is controversial. It has nothing whatsoever to do with endorsing some on the list or not, it’s just new guys in the system. That’s all.

All I asked was how it compares to previous seasons.

I did some research...

Looked at the 2022 and 2023 offseasons. What you will notice is adding a few dozen minor league players from November to March is normal and not noteworthy.

I appreciate your ask, Ecleme, but I have a few things to do today besides CT, and simply don’t have the time. But to your statement, I guess it was more of a normal offseason than some say. I never said it was note worthy.
