The Cardinals, with the worst everything ever, sit 3.5 out of the playoffs.
Beating the other wildcard contenders head ti head in remaining schedule are the key games…. Reds, Padres, and Giants
Need to win those series . If so, have a shot.

I think Svanson eventually will close most games, but Romero doesn't shake, he hangs tough.
He's a good cookie. Both of them. Even after the sell-off, I like the bullpen.

Not bad for an I-League team.

...Yeah, I like it too. Cards have several "potential" closers, and will have some good value if they want to trade any of them this winter.

Me too. I honestly believe the expectations for Helsley got to the point he felt pressure and at times it was too much. Anyway, I don't expect as much from the new bullpen, but they have far exceeded my low expectations. Baseball is a game of opportunity and these bullpen guys have plenty of that now. I like it.

Cards get outhit 8 hits to 7 plus had 1 error ti zero fo Cubs but outscore them 3-2.
Usually when opponent doubles your hit total you likely get the big L . Not tonight!
Go Cards!

At this rate you just have to continue to root for the Mets to have an epic collapse and the reds to start losing more

haven't read thru the whole GDT yet.. I'm sure there's lots of hand wringing over Gorman's throwing error
Gray pitched a solid game. BP came thru again.
Gorman with the 2 out 2 strike rbi.. impressive
Scott continues to pop up at what's got to be a MLB record rate. Noot's gotta be a better option at this point
2 outta 3 vs the Cubbies.. mighta been ugly in the middle, but take the series all day long
maybe the sky isn't falling after all
