True, but he’s given up 21 hits in 22 IP this year. It would be his worst H/9 of his career. Like 82birds said, he’s not dominant like last year.
+1 and the first batters of the inning are batting a healthy .474 with a .524 OBP and .997 OPS coming into this game thats not what you want to see from your closer

I guess the defensive replacement made sense. But it sure would have been nice having Burleson's bat available in the 9th.
