8-4 at home now
Hope we can change the 1-5 road record over the next week. I would take a 4-3 road trip. Wouldn't mind being greedy and wanting 5-2, especially with how bad the Braves have looked, but 4-3 would work.

Maybe it’s just me, but teams on the lame have nothing more to lose. Especially if they are good, say Braves. And, they have to get well sometime. Timing’s everything.

Works for me as well!
Now let’s get back above .500.
Keep thinking “what if?” we at least split those 4 extra inning games??

The worst part about winning is seeing Oli's little smirk at the end like he's thinking "yeah im the best manager ever".
Great win! Don’t you think, Vegas?
Vegas has to be jealous that he never made it in sports?
You're an annoying P[ositively] O[bnoxious] S[impleton] just like Baghdad Bob!

I think with pitching staff and the OF better than last year that the Cards can win at least 90.

Getting Winn and Herrera back should help stabilize the lineup.
I’m expecting the rotation to be a work in progress throughout this season and into next season.

Noot with the bomb!!!!!
Next question. How long does Matz go.
Matz is done. Pitch count
As you said. But I still like a pitcher in a groove for a few more pitches. And the lead.
Gotta stretch him out though...he has a history of injuries too

Why did oli take out matz after the fifth, with only 74 pitches thrown? Is he hurt?

First start of the year and he has an injury history. His longest outing before was a four inning piggyback. And going out on a high note helps boost trade value.

He was pitching on 3 days rest, they weren’t going to push him.
