After last night’s debacle, let’s see if they lay down and play dead today. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel, psychologically.
Bad timing for a five game losing streak. I won’t make 81-81 now. What’s the odds of back to back sweeps.
Good morning, ‘Dawg.
I have no idea on the odds, but would lay a few bucks on Milwaukee today. Their year, their ballyard, our troubles.

Morning sir. Yea I’d say the odds favor a sweep. Two in a row. That’s not the easiest thing to accomplish at the ML level.

I thought they would be .500. I admit I was wrong.

Without the starting infield missing so many games in the 2nd half of the season , Old Red, you would have been right on the mark . Nobody anticipated Donovan, Arenado , Contreras and even Winn to miss this many games.

I need a 4-1 finish. Therefore there must be a sweep embedded. Either SF or Cubs.

78-80. I still have a shot at 81-81. Need a 3-1 finish.

78-84

I am pleased they have already reached my wins prediction. I sure hope they don't lose the remainder......
It sure would be grand if they win out, with some spirited victories at Wiggley.

Well you did call at lest 78. anythibg more is a victory. As for my 81, I’m hoping the Giants mail it in now that they are eliminated. I think we can win two at Chicago.

I predicted 81 - 81. At this point and time would be better than I have expected lately.

I was 77-85. Not gonna quibble over a few games difference.

Sadly the net result is the same - no playoffs. And had they followed the path I hoped for there would be better prospects in the pipeline. But nope they held onto players too long.

Well here we are. End of season. 81-81 didn’t happen. All I needed was a 3-1 finish. Instead 0-3 so far.

80-82 would have looked good considering.

Another year has passed me by; still I look at myself and cry. What kind of man have I become.

All of the years I’ve spent in search of myself, and I’m still in the dark, cause I can’t seem to find the light alone.

Styx.

Look like I might have won this thing.
See my prediction on page 10.
I said 78-84
Not too shabby.

Nope nice call. Thinking back what were your reasons for a six under finish.

This is exactly what I wrote on page 10:

don't think I got in on this earlier.
As of right now, I think they can win
between 75-82 games.
I'll take the average of that number and
round down.
So, 78-84.
Seems about right with the talent level.
