About to be 7.5 games behind Cubs and season is quickly slipping away. Will anyone step up to turn the tide?

LoL...he is though...and Pages needs to be given games off every now and thenvegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:35 pm The more I see pages catch the more I think Herrera can't be that much worse
We don't have players who can handle the bat, and other than Scott (who can't hit), we are slow., but even when we have the opportunity we don't do it. Oh yeah, our base running sucks too.11WSChamps wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:33 pm This coaching staff has never heard of the term "hit and run".
We don't do that, we don't steal, we don't do anything to put pressure on a defense.
He is. And apparently the pitchers prefer Pages' game calling. There was an article about this in the past few days.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:35 pm The more I see pages catch the more I think Herrera can't be that much worse
Neither one of them are everyday catchers.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:35 pm The more I see pages catch the more I think Herrera can't be that much worse
It really isn't avoidable. The Scrubs have a much better team. Cards have abysmal hitters. Snoot is tied with WillyCon for the team lead of 11, yes, 11, HRsstlboiler23 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:37 pm So many abysmal failures today. Lack of situational hitting, [shirt]ty defensive catching, bad bullpen, and another avoidable loss.
Did anyone notice when Cardinals were hitting well that 3 of those guys are not playing .. Herrera, Nado, and WalkerMIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:33 pmTrue, trying to figure out who the two hitters are.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:31 pmCouldn't agree more, but that's what happens when you only have two hitters in your entire lineup.cardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:30 pm Depressing. Winn would be batting 8/9 in most lineups. He's our #2 hitter. Bad.![]()
Is it bad that Carson Kelly would lead this team in HR's?scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:40 pmIt really isn't avoidable. The Scrubs have a much better team. Cards have abysmal hitters. Well, I'd say Donovan and Burly, after that...no one.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:33 pmTrue, trying to figure out who the two hitters are.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:31 pmCouldn't agree more, but that's what happens when you only have two hitters in your entire lineup.cardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 15:30 pm Depressing.
