I said 84.
Once again, my homerism bites me in the asz.
I’m not at all optimistic we are going to end at .500.
I’ll be in SF end of Sept for the bitter end.

Ok Three weeks of games left. I’m at 81-81. I stand a punchers chance.

A blind puncher's chance at that, they have most difficult remaining schedule in MLB.

I'm saying 76-86 is best they can do, every team they are playing is in playoff hunt, and they are treating games like spring training.

As I recall, 76-86 was my prediction early on. I still like it.

I see splitting six with both giants and brewers. That’s six wins. Win 2 from Cincy, one in Seattle. That’s 78. Need a sweep in Chicago.

I still see three from the Brewers, two from reds, one from Giants and mariners. That’s 79. Two from Cubs makes my 81. Sweet ending.

You called it. My 81-81 is sailing away.

They should beat my 75-87 prediction.

Probably get to 75 wins by the end of the final homestand. Then see how many more they win on the last six game road trip.

I'd say 77 or 78 probably looks most likely now.

Yea I was on glide path to 81. Then this stretch. 14 to go. Maybe 7-7. That would give me 79. Close but no cigar.

76-86.
They are now playing motivated teams with a pulse and only six more embarrassing home games.

But I'll say for my official projection that they win 78 games.
Not looking too bad here.

You have a shot. My 81 is sinking.

That was my prediction and at the time I thought it was generous. If I had known then that Moe was going to put his filthy paws all over this organization until his bitter end, I would’ve been down to the low 70s. Good thing the Cards are privately held. Otherwise, BDII would be going to prison for defrauding the investors.

Understood.
After last night’s debacle, let’s see if they lay down and play dead today. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel, psychologically.

Bad timing for a five game losing streak. I won’t make 81-81 now. What’s the odds of back to back sweeps.
