He did that on purpose to give Burly a hit. He knew it was an out anyway.
What would happen if a player broke up a no-hitter by doing that? :D
I for one would bizarrely love it.
I was thinking the same. It would certainly start a skirmish, but I'd love it.

Has he finally figured things out? He’s looked awfully good lately.
Let's hope so. We need a RH bat to produce.
Last 30 games he's batting .286 with a .731 OPS. Very much improved and something to build on.
Yes , but do realize several on CT want him demoted to Memphis til he proves himself OR they want Bloom to trade him .

...That it would...and more likely, that runner would be hit by a ball in the next game against that team, and it would not be of the batted variety.

It’s crazy how the Brewers just figure out ways to win ballgames. Marte, no slouch running, off with contact, thrown out at home on a two out base hit. Just, hell I don’t know, nuts.

Nothing better than watching Ian Crapp stain his pants in the clutch.
Hits over his head against us.
Mediocre putz against most of the rest of the NL!

You don't want to play him and see what he can do? You want Burly in RF? Who else?
