Crowd is awful.
Cards have dug a hole into their fan base.
Revenue has to be dramatically affected at this point.
brutally bad marketing for a few years now.
How so?
1. No control of talking points. Allowed the media to talk like the Cards are the Pirates.
2. Made it hard to watch Cardinal games for years (outside of metro St Louis area).
3. Example: Cards aren't even on a decent radio station just 4 hours north of St Louis in the Quad Cities (almost 400,000 people). Result: kids of Cards fans in the area are all Cubs fans. Result: Families from up here don't even think about making the trip down to watch a few games a year.

I can’t imagine there have been many games in MLB history with 4 2-run HRs by 4 different LH bats
Yankees 1927

Liberatore deserves an immediate contract extension for not giving up a hit to Ian Happ.

The under on the over/under (4) for his Home runs in the series is looking a little better…

Nearly every sweep starts by winning the first game.

I like the way Liberatore pitched once he got the lead and it expanded. Like it was scoreless. Looked all business out there. Against a very good lineup.
