for me, the play of the game was Barrero's snag of that late inning liner.
how he got to that I don't know.
that should make the highlight reel tonight.

They won despite Oli. I thought he was going to let Leahy keep pitching until he lost the game.

Only 6 players in history other than Arenado have 350 or more HR and 10 Gold Gloves.

With 2 more doubles he will have 400

Another reason why the Cardinals should move on from Helsley. He couldn’t come back and finish the second game? He threw a grand total of 10 pitches to get the save in the first game so he just wasn’t available for finish the second game but we bring in Granillo who had a bigger workload in the first game and he was available.
If we blow through the bullpen and need someone to put their big boy pants on to get us through the second game, it won’t be Helsley.

Yup, that's for sure. But they don't all gotta be pretty.
Yep got to beat the bad teams too. Any win is a good win but we got to figure out a few things if we want to keep winning.
I think the bullpen is an underrated weakness. The numbers don't look horrible so long as you don't look at the K%. Need to get some guys who'll miss bats. Especially if it gets into extra baseball.

...Thank goodness for extra-innings today. Without the 10th inning, Noot would not have hit a HR in regulation, and is now tied for 2nd on the team for HR's... Noot has nine, tied with Arenado, and is one HR behind Contreras... Noot has shown signs of emerging from his terrible slump in recent games, and perhaps the home run is what he needs to get back on track.

Physical mistakes happen all the time.
But the mind numbing mental mistakes by manager and players are inexcusable.
Hurry and get dressed and get on the plane and be thankful!

How do we know he can't? Same with Maton. Oli is clueless.

And bad teams like the White Sox do have good days and beat good teams.
