The throw was not good, but it was catchable.

Don't give a pass to the fat first baseman with horrible footwork.
The little dart toss was off target, but watching the replay, Burley was late to bag, had his foot on front corner of bag, instead of middle to back corner, where it should have been, based on where the throw came from.

He is an immobile, horrible athlete.

Hampton .147
Seriously unless he’s a family member, what personnel guy makes the decision that he deserves a spot on a major league roster?

Garbage in garbage out
Losers lose again
Another sweep for Mo and Oli.
Cards are not very good.
Neither was the homeplate umpire.
Bring on the robots.

Just waiting for this terrible season to end.

Three runs on ONE hit which was a ground ball to second base that should have been fielded.
Maybe SOMEONE can start a thread tomorrow about “Saggese at 2B or 3B in 2026”??????
Who would do that?😀

He may be the worst color guy we’ve ever had — and we’ve had Hrabosky and Horton.

really?? after one game?? hahahahaha
He's electric. 0-4 and missing the cutoff man allowing a runner to move into scoring position. I say extend him now.

In the old west they shot gimpy horses. Several Cardinals should be glad they are not in the old west. However, they seem reluctant to replace their injured studs. Wonder if they need to IL the brittle Nootbaar. They surely can't continue to play as short handed as they are playing right now.

He should be a DH, but this team has so many holes, he's forced into playing in the field almost every night. A terribly constructed team.

Just shoot Mo and the season would have some satisfaction to it

Pretty grim time for STL sports.

Cards - under .500 and boring
City - 2nd to last place
Blues - The best of the bunch, but barely snagged the final playoff spot and lost in 1st round.

Grim times.
