Wasted another good start from Pallante. Other than a dud versus KC, he's pitched well this season for a 4th or 5th starter.

Spencer Horwitz pops out softly.

For this, the Pirates will be awarded the victory... unless the Cards can rally in the 9th.

Bad luck for Maton, those hits in the 8th were not hit hard.

That's a weeks worth of runs.

Maton loaded the bed. Offense, base running, 1st base defense all stunk. Pallante was very good. Situational hitting non existent.

Cards ain’t hitting Bednar. Don’t swing may walk a couple.

We are seriously short on offense, Guardian like.

That’s not on Maton. Those were lucky (donkey) bloops that fell in. Happens sometimes.

Don't need any outs on the base paths right now.
