Crowd is awful.

Cards have dug a hole into their fan base.

Revenue has to be dramatically affected at this point.

every cub batter would be on the top step with a bat in hand....
Word has it that Oli had a Plan A and a Plan B for the 8th.
He went with Plan B and O’Brien.
Plan A was to have Munoz come in and “accidentally” bean Tucker and Suzuki.

I am reluctant to go out on a successful limb here, but I have a feeling about Gorman.
I don’t know if it’s a good one, but still…
And now I know.

"Alright, Cbcloud, I went digging—and here's a gem from the archives: on September 7, 1993, the Cardinals hit four home runs against the Cubs in a single game. But this wasn’t just any power display—it was the night Mark Whiten went absolutely nuclear, smashing four home runs by himself and driving in 12 RBIs, tying the MLB record for most RBIs in a game. The Cardinals won that game 15–2."

I remember watching that game. Good times...! :D
Wasn't that against the Reds though?
...Yer RIGHT..! CoPilot not as smart as I thought it was..! I went back to the date in baseball-reference.com and the game WAS against the Reds..! I didn't bother to verify CoPilot as AI is advertised as infallible...but not true, is it... GOOD catch...!

Pujols twice hit 3 homers in a game at Wrigley; maybe another Cardinal homered in one of those games?

I can’t imagine there have been many games in MLB history with 4 2-run HRs by 4 different LH bats

The hitter needs glasses. He swung at two balls in a row 18 inches off the plate under his knees in the dirt. Oooo-somehow he held off that one!
