Roycroft, Leahy, or Goose Gossage...it doesn't matter who was pitching. We weren't going to score more than a run

DFA Roycroft!
So we scored in the 9th inning last night? I must have missed it. And Leahy has been just as dependable as Helsley lately, and has been great against lefties. I see nothing wrong with keeping him in last night. It just didnt work. You Oli haters are really lame blaming him for the loss every time we lose.
I do agree Roycrift and King need to be replaced they are weak links and are not good options, but you can only pitch the players you have.
Dbacks are very good, they have a few stars and decent pitching. I am happy that Memorial Day activities will keep me away from my DirecTV link.cardsfaninla wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:03 pmThose games will be blacked out for me. Maybe it will save me some stress and aggravation?
That was a very disappointing series.

Oli was on the mound yesterday?! I must have missed that...Rocket Scientist wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:34 pm The not so good manager thing, started last night, when the Detroit manager pitched around our hot hitters and walked them on 4 pitches.Oli first pitch strikes to the hot Detroit hitters late in the game yesterday, just a mental block that led to the loss.
Blah blah blah...the typical simple minded analysis from the simple minded one trick ponies. You people are so intellectually lazy. Ollie didnt pitch or hit today. Sadly most of his players didnt either. That's why they lost.Baseball Savant wrote: ↑21 May 2025 15:14 pmAJ Hinch bent Oli over his knee todayMIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑21 May 2025 14:37 pm Oli got his pants pulled down again. Outmanaged badly. TY Bob. You started it. I have been following baseball for 66 years, so you maybe should not be so pious and advice giving. If you don't like my comment go on to the next thread.
