Roycroft, Leahy, or Goose Gossage...it doesn't matter who was pitching. We weren't going to score more than a run

And yet some clowns think he's a good Manager ::crazya:: ::crazya::

DFA Roycroft!
Thats akright, some clowns think he is a bad manager just because he doesn't have their perfect hindsite to judge every move.

So we scored in the 9th inning last night? I must have missed it. And Leahy has been just as dependable as Helsley lately, and has been great against lefties. I see nothing wrong with keeping him in last night. It just didnt work. You Oli haters are really lame blaming him for the loss every time we lose.

I do agree Roycrift and King need to be replaced they are weak links and are not good options, but you can only pitch the players you have.
Do you even understand anything about the great game of baseball. Looks like you don't. See, he doesn't have perfect hindsight, and that is evidenced by his inability to learn from his frequent mistakes. He also has no foresight which leads to him making those mistakes. Keep trying though Bobby.
I understand lots about baseball. I have been watching or listening to it nearly everyday for 60 years. I also know that whining negative complainers like the ones who cone out of the woodwork after losses judge everything emotionally and have zero discernment. Constant complaining does not equal baseball knowledge. Just the opposite.
That's nice rookie.

Those games will be blacked out for me. Maybe it will save me some stress and aggravation?

That was a very disappointing series.

Dbacks are very good, they have a few stars and decent pitching. I am happy that Memorial Day activities will keep me away from my DirecTV link.

Tough losing a series at home but it was to a hot team.
Day off.
Regroup.
And....hopefully....get rid of Roycroft this time for good!
Go Cards!

Yeah, the Tigers players beat the Cardinals players today.

When are the Cards going to bring in a manager that can go 162-0?!?!?

The not so good manager thing, started last night, when the Detroit manager pitched around our hot hitters and walked them on 4 pitches.Oli first pitch strikes to the hot Detroit hitters late in the game yesterday, just a mental block that led to the loss.

Oli was on the mound yesterday?! I must have missed that...

Do you ever hold the pitcher responsible?

Is Detroit the best team in MLB?

Tigers got puck luck with some of their hits. Cards batters didn't. Tigers strike zone was a canyon compared to Cards' pitchers zone. Plus, the most important factor; Tigers were helped tremendously by Pallante tipping his off speed pitches. Their dugout picked up on it. Ours didn't.

Blah blah blah...the typical simple minded analysis from the simple minded one trick ponies. You people are so intellectually lazy. Ollie didnt pitch or hit today. Sadly most of his players didnt either. That's why they lost.

TY Bob. You started it. I have been following baseball for 66 years, so you maybe should not be so pious and advice giving. If you don't like my comment go on to the next thread. Have a nice day!
