Make that 18 HR and 72 RBIJoseph-Magrane wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 15:46 pm Are we at all concerned with the fact that Arenado is on pace for 12 HR 66 RBI?
After 16/71 last year
I mean I’d love more…
Ok
Can you explain this comment other than saying I blindly hate everything Oli does? Thanks!Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:03 pmNo but he did burn through the good relievers early leaving the (bleep) ones to go if they tie
Not quite everything. Just the stuff that makes winning less likely.cardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:16 pmCan you explain this comment other than saying I blindly hate everything Oli does? Fairly easy matz has been great all season one of the most trusted relievers on the team and one of the best who gives u multiple good innings and he pulled him after just 2/3? Silly. Then brings in O’Brien for two pitches you trust him to come in with a runner on in a key situation but not to pitch another inning? Then go to maton and helsely. Thank god Arenado saved oli for his poor bullpen management or Jo Jo and king would have been coming in in extrascardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:16 pmCan you explain this comment other than saying I blindly hate everything Oli does? Complainers gonna complain. Sucks the bullpen other than the top guy was good today and can still be used tomorrow in a key series.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:30 pmFairly easy matz has been great all season one of the most trusted relievers on the team and one of the best who gives u multiple good innings and he pulled him after just 2/3? It’s stupid to say complainers gonna complain when poor bullpen management won’t beat you every time as we see tonight but poor management will beat you more times than not over the course of the season as we have seen so far With olis poor bullpen management the record is a direct reflection of his poor bullpen managementcardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:33 pmComplainers gonna complain. I have no problem pulling obrien ciz i dont trust him enough to have put him in close game in first place. Hes a career journeyman. Agreed matz should have stayed in.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:30 pmFairly easy matz has been great all season one of the most trusted relievers on the team and one of the best who gives u multiple good innings and he pulled him after just 2/3? Is Matz being used as a starter this week with no off day? Also something to consider on why he wasn't left in for more pitches.Wattage wrote: ↑26 Apr 2025 16:42 pmI have no problem pulling obrien ciz i dont trust him enough to have put him in close game in first place.
