Keep losing boys, we need as a high a draft pick as possible in order to help field a winning team
yep...we need to run down Marlins, A's and/or Baltimore to secure a Top 9 pick...if we don't win the Lottery, we'll likely drop out of the Top 10 unless we make up more ground....only 2 back of Miami now.

How was Mo not only allowed to destroy the major league club, but absolutely dismantle the whole farm system, too? And then in spite of those two epic failures, they let the clown have a farewell tour, where he did even more damage. The depths that this organization has sunk to may take years to overcome. Mo’s monstrous ego has brought us to this point. The guy cannot be gone soon enough.
He needs to move fast so the door doesn't hit him in the rear. Needs to go out hand in hand with Marmol.

Package this game with lots of others. A 6-1 lead after 5. A 3 run lead in the ninth. Blow it. Retake the lead in the 10th. Blow it. Bases loaded 0 outs in the 10th and we score on a DP ball. We walk 5, hit 4. Popups drop. We can’t bunt to move runners along. We strike out chasing junk way too much. The only saving grace is that Fedde didn’t get the win. How would that feel? Like a kick in the nuts.

Well I’m done watching for the year. Missed some good football just to see Cards lose again. Wish the Mariners didn’t play such late games as I like watching them play and root for them. Going for 8 straight tonight

Logical reasoning would agree with you but this organization will screw up any high pick they get. All you have to do is look at the last 8 years or so as a template.

Not upset with the loss.
I am upset that I didn’t switch the channel and find a good movie to watch.
I keep hoping for good moves to come from this nonsense.
Watching Gorman bat/field and looking at Oli’s face literally makes me nauseous.
And Noot isn’t far behind.
Sleep well guys!

Want to add one more thing besides batting/ fielding .. how about his slowpoke running. Remember when he was on 2nd base .. runners 1st & 2nd with 0 outs and Cards put bunt play on to advance the runners. Pitcher fields the ball and throws to 3rd getting the sliding Gorman in a force out. 90% of the guys in MLB would have beat that throw to 3rd base . Not Gorman ! While general baseball strategy says bunt to advance both runners in scoring position, this team cannot execut that with many of our slower runners so due to that might as well have the batter hit away .. All we are doing is bunting into an out with runners still on 1st and 2nd . Oli keeps calling for that though.

He didn’t touch a pitch and swung at 3 balls. Just terrible approach to hitting that is epidemic throughout this lineup
On Friday night he watched 3 strikes go by in an AB.
Watched strike 1 and strike 2, then fouled one off, then watched strike 3.

1st round picks....last 8 drafts
2018 ~ Nolan Gorman
2019 ~ Zack Thompson
2020 ~ Jordan Walker
2021 ~ Michael McGreevy
2022 ~ Cooper Hjerpe
2023 ~ Chase Davis
2024 ~ J.J. Wetherholt....aided by a high pick (7th)
2025 ~ Liam Doyle ....aided by a high pick (5th)
-----------
I'd say McGreevy has the better shot out of the ones before 2024 of sticking with this team in the long term.
It also goes to show that Flores drafted poorly early on in the drafts.
Yes. For years many on here touted Flores as being really good.
He’s not.

Yes, and so does DeWitt Jr.
