Never saw so many grounders finding the holes for Pirates.

This inning a walk, then a squibber between 1st and 2nd puts runners on 1st and 3rd
Then Pham bounces grounder that goes between 5 and 6 hole.
Run scores .

Tough luck for Sonny Gray. That’s baseball.

In either lineup. Of course the Brewers and Padres today also have 1 combined player with an OPS above .800.
Tatis 794 and Merrill 792 and of course Manny 837. Not a bad 1-3
Agreed, but 2 of those 3 aren’t above .800.

If we’re healthy we have Donovan (.788), Winn (.720) Herrera (.925), Burleson (.788) Contreras (.761). It looks quite a bit better…

No one should be untouchable, no one, but there are some that "must go".

.720 is really not very good. And Donovan is on a giant downswing.

And Gray who pitched a good game, gets credited with four of those runs. Should have let him get himself out of jam.

The only reason to have Pham on your team is for when you're playing another team that Pham used to be on.

No matter how long i watch baseball and understand about the 162 marathon its still crazy a team like the cardinals can sweep the Indians and look like a 100 win team that cant be stopped then play the lowly pirates and look like a team going to lose 100 games lol crazy. Cards will probably sweep the cubs this weekend.

Nothing like going into Cleveland and sweeping them on the road then going into Pittsburgh and being swept by the Pirates. Getting to 9 over was looking so promising.

With the Cards situation now, of these three who would you rather have, Gorman, Noot, or Pham? I'll take Pham.

9 over was a fluke. This team and their fearless little leader are really not very good. Somewhere closer to the 72 win team I predicted they would be.
