Do you have a link to thati? I looked online and didnt see an arrticle online thar indicated that. I know there have been times when the front office wanted a certain player to get at bats.

Even if somewhat true it is not usisual in this day and age for a front office to offer stong opinions on who plays when.

Mo talked about it in a radio interview during the 2023 season.

I don't believe Mo ever said what you said he did, at least not that definitely as you indicate, as there is no evidence of it. I also don't think many managers run their team alone this day and age. I do think Marmol has a lot more say in the daily lineups then you think, and people like Derrek Goold and Bernie Mikolas have alluded that he does. So maybe your original premise that he has nothing to do with the lineup is the la la land version. Some people on here will say anything to have an excuse to bash Marmol.

Believe me, Robert, I don't need to make things up to have reasons to blast marmol. He provides enough material on his own.

As for whether or not you (or anyone else), believes what I post, I don't care. I know what I heard. Others on here have also mentioned it. So let's just agree to disagree.

As for Goold, he writes whatever the organization allows. And Bernie changes positions frequently. I take most of their work with a grain of salt.

Amd the Marmol dissing is getting old. The team overperformed last year and is over performing expectations this year.. Marmol may or may not end up as a above above Manager but he doesn't deserve the constant harping he gets. Its intellectually lazy. His team plays hard and they play good defense.

I also said I don't buy 100% of what Goold and Bernie say. I provided legitimate reasons. That's not an attack, it's fact.

This current team is playing well above expectations. I give oli and his staff credit for that. However, saying an 84-78 team exceeded expectations is a stretch. They were on target at best. He was also a major reason for the dumpster fire of 2023. That cannot be argued.

Nothing I've said is outlandish. Nor is it a set of attacks. If you don't agree, fine. But I stand by what I've posted because I heard the interview.
