Just a terrible AB by Arenado. Up 2-0, there’s absolutely no reason to go reaching. As a veteran hitter, he should know better. When your highest paid player, your cleanup hitter, gives away key AB’s, you’re not going to win many games.

To be fair, arenado was hitting over. 320 with risp. But he didnt get it done here. Bad at bat.

And yet he only has 16 RBI. Because he has terrible power for a cleanup hitter. With RISP he has 3 doubles and 0 HR. He now has a .395 SLG% with RISP, even with that .316 average with RISP.
