serious question:
do you think Sal Stewart is catching up to JJ in the race for NL Rookie of the Year?

GREAT.
you're (bleep) about his first start and that it was 5 innings?

LOL

lined2left did not play left field in little league. He was just left out.

Stewart now leads the NL in RBI.

He has passed JJ currently.

no...the WAR distance is too great....probably still is. I haven't checked in a week.

Way to look for a pitch Ivan. No clutch, no balls

Ivan Herrera try not to roll over to second challenge: impossible.

JJ ~ 3.9 WAR
Sal ~ 1.8 WAR

please, don't be fooled by team stat like RBI.

He is superior in every aspect of the game to Gorman plus he is a breath of fresh air.
We’re spared having to watch the “glazed over” look on Gorman’s face which seemed to say “where am I”??????
He's a placeholder and not a very good one. He's hitting .233 with a .598 OPS. That's not very good.
Probably is.....but he’s Brooks Robinson compared to Gorman. LOL

This offense is unwatchable. Nobody ever gets a clutch hit.

All you can do is shake your head.

I understand WAR is a great tool, but I have a hard time believing if Stewart continues to lead the NL in RBI (84 right now) and hits 30+ HRs (23) that he won’t be the NL ROY.

Yes.

JJ is a defense merchant.

Oh fully agree with you that I was done watching Gorman. No argument there :D

Watching Cards hitters....like Herrera... hit with RISP always makes me wonder exactly WHAT they talk about with the hitting coach????
