Agree. I hope he is not on the plane to Toronto - unless it is to play for the Blue Jays.

Noot is just like Bader, Grichuk, O’Neill, Carlson and any others I missed. They come up and can’t get it done. Get rid of him like you did the others. There’s a couple more they’ve brought up and used this year that won’t stick either. Organization is suffering.

We are closer to the worst record in baseball (12 games ahead of the Rockies) than our division leader (13.5 games behind the Brewers).

Yea, it’s time to be done with him. He is what he is. It was a nice hope that he might come back and actually do something before we traded him, but I can’t imagine we’ll get much for him.

...Cards 1-for-12 with RISP. Cubs 3-for-12. Both teams 10 LOB. Cards had many chances, but couldn't get the key hit. Cubs did in the 10th. No more Cubs in Busch this season...

Like, I honestly think it's the best move to get rid of Noot. Psychologically.

He's kind of the last of that Bader/Carlson/Grichuk/TO line of outfielders that HAD to have the runway cleared for them. Only to provide little, if anything.

Also, Church is at 20.6% this season and 17.9% in July, including his strikeouts today

JuanAgosto wrote: 30 Jul 2026 15:18 pm This catcher defense is getting really old. Every game there is a pitch to the backstop that allows a runner to advance. Today, it may cost the game. Absolutely pathetic.
I blame the coaching staff for having them kneel down on one knee trying to steal the low strike. In that position the catcher has a lot less range of motion. With the ABS challenge there isn’t any need to try and steal strikes. It’s obvious that it’s not working defensively.
The coaching staff proved how idiotic it is when they told Contreras to reach forward to steal strikes. It got his arm broken. Now they teach being out of position to block pitches. Are they really that stupid?
