The second period burns this team. When you’ve got the long change and have major problems with possession, you’re gonna have a bad time
If you french fry when you should've pizzaed, you're gonna have a bad time!

He had his run as toast of the town but it's over. It has to be Hofer 2 out of every three games. Pick Binners games wisely and try to increase some trade value. The league still thinks he is a big game goaler (as evidenced by being an Olympian).
He has to be moved regardless of the return so they can spend that 6.5 million better.
Move him and then when he retires, retire his number and build a statue.
He is an all time great blue but it's done.
Bad teams and bad leaders do not make the difficult decisions although this one isn't difficult. Bad teams also hold on to the old days too long.
Good players do and 50 is not a good player. S%cks that he isn't but it is what it is.
Berube literally went head to head with Montgomery and proved to be the better guy
I would much rather have Berube than Monty also.
But it wouldn't change a thing. Simply not enough good players.
There are so many issues with the roster but a big one is they hardly any offense from the defense. Faulk will chip in occasionally but not having anybody back there that can support offense, much less create it, is a huge problem.
