"Oli fighting for his players...."
more like Oli fighting for his job. He shouldn't have gotten it originally and he shouldn't still have it now.
Not a fan of Oli (or Mo)
If it was TL you guys would be giddy.
Not sure who "you guys" are exactly. Also not sure what TonyL has to do with this. Personally, I don't care for Oli, his lineups, his pitching decisions, his attitude, or his general demeanor.
Tony L made some strange calls also, but also had the resume and results to back it up.
Regardless, as usual when they win a game, I am quite pleased.

Oli needed to go bat [shirt] crazy there. That display was weak.
Haha ... he did only KINDA lose his shiz .... maybe if he kicked some dirt and had to be dragged out I would appreciate him more?

Winner!
Eff you Murphy you homely a-hole!
As for Helsley? He makes it interesting for sure.
Reminds me of when Earl Weaver nicknamed a reliever “full pack” because he smoked a full pack watching him pitch every night!
Much needed break
Regroup
Get healthy
Come out strong after the break!
That was Don “Full Pack” Stanhouse. He would walk the first couple of batters with none on and none out, just to make things “interesting”. Then somehow wiggle out of the jam!
Stanhouse was also nicknamed “Stan the Man Unusual”. Apparently, he’d show up to batting practice early and make loud, squeaking bird screeches for the entertainment of the few early bird fans at the ballparks he played in.

He should've at least kept it up for a few minutes. Maybe chewed on the whole crew.

Welp, now we can all bask in the glory of a home comeback victory for a few, short days.
Who watches the all-star game anyway?

They have gotten so desperate that they put the kid from Milwaukee in and he has only pitched about 25 innings. That did if for me. Not watching a overhyped clown parade.

I'll watch - very excited to see Clayton and that kid from Mil. - a couple of very compelling reasons to tune in!

Can't blame you one bit, MidMo. I have not watched in years. It has become an anachronism with interleague play, about as interesting as the Pro Bowl, the NHL All-Offense game and the NBA Wutever game.

I loved the all star game when Mays, Aaron, and Clemente would start and play the whole game, trying to win every year. When they started opting out and limiting pitchers to an inning it lost the edge I liked. It became a prom.

IF O'Brien improves his control he could be closer material. His stuff qualifies.

Yes, when the leagues truly despised each other and really tried to win, not the polo game atmosphere we have had since the 1990s.

Yes, and once inter-league play was started, the intrigue of seeing the stars of the other league, and the pride of proving which league was superior was diminished.
