Which is what we all knew was going to be the case because Mo screamed it all offseason from the highest mountain.

He leads the NL in HBP's and has been very good against his old team. He had some swagger nothing more...hug your safety doll for comfort

A split just left things where they were while helping the Crew
Exactly, Scouty. Any competitive player would be upset in that situation. Im glad he showed some fire.

Do the left handers? 8O
Donovan and Burley, no one else, but that's better than our righties.
Yeah no, go look at Hurdy Gurdy's split vs LHP this year

Yep and it was just an insignificant 101 under the chin

At least the organization now knows to focus on identifying who to make available for trade and to determine what kind of prospects to ask for in return.

Not sure you'd not listen on any of them

It’s been obvious for a while now that we are short RH bats, especially in the outfield. We hoped Saggese would help and he didn’t. Anyone who thought Hampson was an answer, he isn’t. We are going to see every lefty available because we don’t have the RH bats to combat them.

Herrera helped some but he has been hurt twice now in the first half of the year. If he’s not available is he really help?

Until the front office recognizes our shortcomings, there isn’t much that’s going to change.

Hampson has been dumped by the marlins Rockies and reds the only answer he is is who gets released next when the cards need a roster spot

Let’s give Saggese a little time before we ship him out.

I think he will be given time. His promotion this time was in direct correlation to the lefty starters the Cubs had on the horizon. What I know is he didn’t take care of his business during this series. Nootbaar will be back in the lineup when the next RH pitcher is scheduled. Gorman is going to get a run with Walker out. Saggese will go back to the bench until the next LH starter. Hopefully he has more success.

He certainly was not the only one who had little success the last two games.

No doubt about that but it was his chance to take the bull by the horns and show he should be here. He went 0-7, a K and 4 left on base in the two games. Hampson had more hits. I’m not blaming it all on him but he sure didn’t help his chances any.
