There are plenty of players to complain about. I’ll just use Kyrou as an example. This player goes into the offensive zone and has no plan on what to do with the puck.

I love Binner but it’s just not happening. If I’m Team Canada there is just no way you can play him. Big game reputation or not, his play is too abysmal to overlook.

Guys I think Monty started Binnington because there was no reason to waste Hofer against Edmonton who just swamps the Blues most of the time. Save our better goalie for games we can win.
Agree. Keep putting Hofer in a position to build confidence, which this game would not have been. Nothing else really matters this season.
Yeah the Canes and Lightning were bad teams I guess? EDM was 1-3-1 in their last 5 homes games

Come on we need our top guys to play like top guys
The problem is staring everyone right in the face. If those are your top guys, you aren't winning much in this league.
Obviously the top dog wasn't in the lineup. It's not like these guys aren't trying, but Buch struggles to score anymore and Kyrou repeatedly trying to penetrate one vs all of Edmonton was just nutty.
At any rate they ran into an Oiler team on top of their game and they got smoked. Fundamentally, the Blues lack speed and waste the speed they do have.
