Hasn't he been back previously for a standing O welcome back ! Is it required that a player who returns gets a 'standing' O' every time he returns to Busch ?

Yeah, that poor hitting, lousy bullpen team did a job on us.

Pitching is definitely in a slump. They better get it fixed quickly with Dodgers in town. The offense had a few bad innings after repeatedly falling behind and coming back. They lost two games that they scored 7 and 5 runs in. That hurts.

Cards are reverting back to a problem they've had for the last couple seasons. Lots of strike outs.
