THATS A WINNER!!!!
Re: GDT : Cards @ Giants (9/23) ~ 8:45pm CDT
With ABS O'Brien would have patted his cap on both those pitches (if Cards had both challenges ) ..
0-2 instead of 2-0
WOOHOO! What a team ! They NEVER give up .. unfortunately some of the CT'ers are missing some great games . 2 out of 3 from Brewers .. now a pair from Giants .. oh well l their loss .. our gain !

This guy has a weird zone. Loves to call anything within three inches of the plate on high balls, but balls clearly in the zone but low, he calls them all balls.

that's the ump that couldn't/didn't see the foul ball off Walker's foot that turned into a DP last night.

Can't believe we haven't been eliminated yet.

Brewers lost. There will be no 100-win teams in 2025.
Cleveland won. They went from out of the playoffs to first place in the AL Central.
Seattle won. They were the last WC not long ago but now are looking at a first round bye.
Houston lost. They are now 1 game out of the last AL WC spot.
Detroit lost. They are now the 3rd AL Wildcards. Could miss the playoffs!
New York Mets won. Cincinnati lost. Mets regained the last NL WC spot.

Good job by oli bringing in O’Brien for the last out. I thought he was just going to leave Romero in

...And...that's a WINNAH..! The "comeback Cardinals" do it again..! Lotta CT posters missed a good finish...but I understand some of them have to go to work tomorrow. But, others just "gave up" on this team, a long time ago, and have missed some good baseball on the west coast this week.
A crazy game, for sure, with Arenado's "error" in the 3rd, putting 2 runs across for SF, but making up for it with the HR in the 7th in the middle of the comeback. That was his 1st HR since the first full day of summer, June 21st, and he hits his next one on the 1st full day of Autumn, September 23rd... weird, huh..? And Donovan...can't say enough about his 4 doubles, only the 3rd Cardinal to ever do that in a game. This was one of Oli's best games managing, using the BP very effeciently to preserve the 1-run lead. A total team effort for sure.
The Cards have won the SF series, and will go for the sweep tomorrow, before finishing the season in Chicago this coming weekend. The Cards knocked the Giants out of the post-season tonight, while maintaining a very slim chance to qualify for it themselves. A lot of things have to happen, over which they have no control over, for them to make it... Either way, it has been an exciting way for them to finish the season.
