Poor Scott can't catch a break
Re: GDT : Cards @ Giants (9/22) ~ 8:45pm CDT
...Strange fact...but maybe appropriate in inning 5. I asked Microsoft AI if Lars Nootbaar ever took ballet lessons...and the answer is...
"Yes—Lars Nootbaar did take ballet lessons as part of his athletic training. In interviews, he’s mentioned that his mother enrolled him in ballet when he was younger to help improve his flexibility, coordination, and balance. While it wasn’t a long-term pursuit, the experience gave him a foundation that’s helped him as an athlete, especially in terms of body control and movement efficiency.
It’s a great example of how unconventional training methods can benefit elite athletes. Ballet’s emphasis on posture, core strength, and precise movement translates surprisingly well to baseball, especially for outfielders tracking fly balls or making quick pivots. Want to explore other athletes who’ve used dance or unusual training methods to gain an edge?"
Maybe that's why Noot was able to turn the wrong way on Chapman's line drive to LF and was still able to make the catch...

Scott just can't hit. If he doesnt bunt, he pulls everything but has no power. Not an MLB hitter.

Oh lord Fernandez let the prayers begin. Luckily the giants have been taking notes from the cardinals baserunning book

Bottom of the lineup. He won't get an easier assignment. Hopefully he can handle it!

Wow what a great play to rob saggasse and save them a run with pages hit
Re: GDT : Cards @ Giants (9/22) ~ 8:45pm CDT
...Excellent play by CF Gilbert on Saggese's long fly to leftcenter. Gilbert ran a long ways and made a diving catch... He dosen't make that catch and Saggese is on 2B... Then Page's double woulda scored him...
