Saggese strikes out, by a pitcher who can’t throw strikes?

Saggese just struck out while jumping away from the pitch. I swear both his feet were off the ground as he was swinging. No concept of a strike zone.

When you eliminate all other possibilities, the remaining possibility must be true.

Saggese can't bunt
Why is he trying
it MIGHT make sense if we were down by 1 or 2
but being down 5, it doesn't make sense
Common sense is not very common for the birds.

I know he fouled one off.

This is the most boring team to watch I’ve ever seen! They do seem to get a lot of runners on base, but then they go absolutely brain dead! Some of the worst at bats even possible!

Yes, he did. Four sinkers in a row.

Seems like the Cards take more than their fare share of called 3rd strikes - that starts with the manager- should not be tolerated to the degree it occurs.

Put a $100 bill in a can every time it happens, give the proceeds to A charity. There would be enough money in there to cure all kinds of diseases, or feed the world!

Thank you.
And they were all strikes.
3rd strike was one the ump hadn’t been calling all night.
But when you’re hitting .210 you don’t get a lot of calls.
Definite a bad AB.
