Questionable backhand by Jiricek on the PP. an example of things I see with him too frequently

Nice strong period by our baby blues, some nice hits and some good pressure.. some sloppy turnovers and bad passes but otherwise pretty good period

Blues came out strong. Spent the first 5 or 6 mins almost entirely in the Hawks zone. They were smothering them good. Putting the pressure on em.

Blues up 1 - 0.

Blues really sloppy in the second and pretty much give up an empty and Chi ties it

He wasn’t playing that well until the end of the prior season when he was 20 against smaller younger kids. he was a big lunk. I hope I’ve successfully navigated your criteria for the words I choose

One goal the replacement was way out of position. The other was very soft. Chicago dominated the period though. Cranley was very good for 30 minutes.

Not that it matters much, but he was 19 then (turned 20 on July 19th)
