he was never gonna get the guy at home, and throw in the 4 step build up to the throw and there was even less of a chance
It's just one play. But the technique and throw were disappointing.
he's known for his arm, so guessing he wanted to showcase it

Cards bullpen has the 7th lowest ERA in MLB and 2nd lowest since the all-star break. Our starting pitching is the issue.
