I've said it before and I will say it again. Willy Con has a very low baseball I.Q. I do not hate the guy, but a bad another bad signing by Mo. He wasn't needed and Mo overpaid for him.

Umm… he’s been one of our best players and is new to playing 1B and has been one of the best defensive 1B in the league. He hasn’t been a bad signing at all!

Ummm. They paid him too much and didn't need an 8th catcher in the system. It was a bad signing!

As evidenced by pages starting the majority of the games… Team is stacked with mlb ready quality catchers.

Is the system shy of good catchers? Also, is Contreras even a catcher anymore? As I stated earlier, not a good signing for catcher.

Who cares what position he is now? The dude had a 3.0 WAR in only 84 games this year and is on pace to be over 3.0 WAR this year too.

His WAR is even more impressive if you look at him as a catcher. A 3.0 WAR in half a season is legit. The guy is one of our best hitters. What a weird hill to die on.

Wouldn't signing a better player for a bit more money have been a better decision? As I said, he's not awful. He isn't worth what he was paid. WAR is an opinion stat that I take very, very little value in. We will not agree on this. Ill stop now if you do.

Otherwise, he should prepare to be traded.
