...Yeah, that's a different category, one I didn't consider. Here's what coPilot says about that..."It's difficult to determine an exact number of position players who have never given up a hit in their careers, as it's not a standard statistic tracked by MLB."Quincy Varnish wrote: ↑12 Jun 2025 21:03 pmFor a pitcher that’s there to pitch, obviously yes. But, rereading T-P's question, that is not what he asked... My bad... Give credit to the Miz for the Brewers . He pitched a gem tonight. He had a lot to do with the Cardinals not hitting tonight. Looked a little like Paul Skenes with his velocity .cardstatman wrote: ↑12 Jun 2025 21:23 pm 9-12 and average getting beaten 5.2 to 3.9 for the last 21 games.
All teams slump. Good teams find a way to get out of their slumps before their season is ruined.
Can the Cardinals make adjustments and get back on the winning track? It is easier if you play good fundamental baseball and don't have to overcome as many of your own mistakes. Today they simply were beaten. Only 3 hits (all in a row) isn't going to win.
Correct ! This 1st time pitcher happens to be the Brewers No. 1 pitching prospect in their farm system. Certainly not some ordinary rookie call-up .Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑12 Jun 2025 21:10 pm+1
Why would any Cardinal be happy after this loss ? Sonny pitched well for 4 innings but then they got him in the 5th plus the offense is
I'm kind of sick of giving credit to the other team. This isn't a rare thing that we get curb stomped by some rookie.ramfandan wrote: ↑12 Jun 2025 21:42 pmGive credit to the Miz for the Brewers .
