Glad I only checked box scores and didn't watch tonight. Looks like Cards had one field goal to Red Sox two touch downs and a safety.

How bad is it? The announcers are pushing for a "run rule" in MLB. IMHO, management and ownership hasn't gotten it yet but this is a horrible product to put out there.

Is he though? Gave up 152 hits in 130 innings with nearly a 5 ERA last year. Looked atrocious tonight. Not trying to overreact, but I don’t see him being even a marginal MLB caliber pitcher.

Why? He is far from the problem of this team. He's been great thus far!

I know the game has changed, but even if that’s true, Graceffo never once even brushed a batter back, let alone buzzed one’s ear! He doesn’t have the competitiveness to be a major league pitcher. At some point you have to defend yourself and at least make them respect you as a player. He’ll never make it in the bigs !

We were in it to win it right up until that safety!

This blow up by Helsley has really done damage. He had some volcano blows last year. This was caused by walks which is the worst kind for morale. The Twins series gave false hope. This is the team we were expecting.

Agreed....

And the blows keep coming.. So unsound at every fundamental...

Looks like these unproven bullpen arms have all ran outta luck at once.

This team is definitely not ready for prime time.
