Add Neighbors, the most over hyped . Another grinder who “plays the right way” with very little skill.
Whatever. As long as kyrou, faulk, schenn and binnington are gone. Nobody wants buch

Combine that with playing Binnington in 7+ non back to backs when you have a top 3 goalie during the same time period.

He appears to be a good motivator when things are going well or he’s a new coach but doesn’t handle adversity well. But most importantly, he doesn’t appear to understand the X’s and O’s or strategy part of the game well at all.

Hard as it is, this is what we want. Losses. It’s just not happening this season. Let’s take the Ls and let’s get the dead weight out of here, get as high a draft pick as possible, and hope 26/27 is more exciting.

what makes this so bad is the Jets have lost 2 in a row with being shut out last night by the hawks.

To those who possess the constitution to stomach this team for 60 minutes, I applaud you.

Pulling the goalie when only down by 1, with 3 minutes to go, when you don't have possession, in front of quite possibly the worst 6 on 5 team in the history of the modern NHL ... I'm afraid words no longer have meaning.

Need that barf emoji back

Well, the Jets would probably feel just as bad losing to the Blues at home. It's time for all Blues fans to admit that THIS is one of the bad teams.

Not worse than those teams where we were hailing jim soupy campbell and harry york as our future and curtis sandford was our stopper. This is bad but not quite like those teams.

I’m older so my memory is poorer so this 25-26 is the worst Blues squad that I can remember. There is some stat (something like) we have scored two goals or less in 24 of 32 games. I think that’s why we’re so frustrated. We’re not seeing enough goals.

It's easily the worst team I can remember this century. Granted, I didn't pay much attention to the down years when they thought #1 pics were guys who hang around shirtless with Cuba Gooding Jr.

But yeah, it's not just that the offense is so bad. It's that they routinely fail on grade A opportunities and coming into the season, offense was thought to be one of this team's strengths. I know Bolduc's mired in a sophmore slump but that one extra proven goal scorer extended this lineup in a way that seemed unstoppable.

Those expectations are long gone now.

Finished the game this morning.

Lowry was abusing Faulk early on. It was like Faulk wasn't even there. They got their matchups on him for sure. Faulk also made a dumb move to go around Tucker exiting the zone, resulting in a turnover and great scoring chance (bailed out by Hofer).

Mailloux was solid, however, and handled Lowry well, able to take the body and use his long reach to keep him at bay/stifle the offense. He is gaining confidence and it is showing.

Also, Parayko was the most engaged I've seen him all season. Olympic talk is getting to him for sure.

Do the players/organization all know this is a tank season? It is beginning to seem that way. Only thing left is for Army to declare it over and sell.

This team is extremely frustrating, but I will remind everyone that we once had Mike Sillinger lead the team in goals (22 8O ).

To me, the '05-'11 years were way worse. We still had some big guns, but a revolving door of goalies and bottom feeder depth players that could never gain any traction. It wasn't until we picked up Steen, Petro, Backes started humming Vladdy/Oshie became regulars....essentially, the Hitch years, was the Team exciting to watch again.

Yea i thought Mailloux played well he is on a good stretch of hockey. Reading the d zone well, jumping into the offense. Still think there is another level of physical play there but he still looks like he is afraid to make a mistake vs playing with abandon. I would expect LM to make a leap forward next season, Habs fans will eventually be (bleep) about this trade

It feels like this team has too many players that only play well when others are playing well or the team is winning. On the flip side we’ve seen the same players disappear when things aren’t going well, too many passengers not enough leaders.

This season could have easily gone differently if the Blues got goaltending. Can’t ignore Hofer’s 9-4-0 compared to Binner’s 2-8-1 since late November.

Throw in non stop injuries to key forwards and that’s all it takes.
