True. They've been stalking and trolling for over a year now. The Odd Couple. Strange bedfellows. One would think they would get tired of it after awhile and move on to more constructive baseball discussion.
You then have to look to Mautz, Henderson, etc.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 07:43 amAnd what happens if these three don’t produce. Hope for on the fence prospects is a dangerous way to man a team.
On my end I'm not stalking. We just have a completely different viewpoint on the status on how the Cardinals are run and our interest in Major League baseball. If a person doesn't agree with you, you don't consider it a "constructive baseball discussion". As I have said, older people often can't handle change and think they are right all the time. That includes you and Mr. DeWitt your friend, who you vehemently agree with.
Personal question for you OldRed.OldRed wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 08:04 amOn my end I'm not stalking. Your title is oldred, but how old are you exactly?
So, in your own words, you can’t handle change and you think you’re right all the time? Not how I took it. He said he couldn’t understand why some people in their eighties are resistant to big change, and think they are right all the time. I don’t think he was referencing himself.Cranny wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 09:13 amSo, in your own words, you can’t handle change and you think you’re right all the time? What the hell are you talking about? You can’t handle change, and you think you’re right all the time? Now you are stalking for sure.Cranny wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 09:13 amSo, in your own words, you can’t handle change and you think you’re right all the time? Remember when we sold off our entire rotation that year and were left with Matz and Miles as SP……which is quite odd since you confidently stated we had 6-7 SP’s……anyway, where are all the “prospects” received in return for 3 ML Starters??? You’d think out of that massive sell off that at least one would make his way to the big club??Cranny wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 08:03 amYou then have to look to Mautz, Henderson, etc.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 07:43 amAnd what happens if these three don’t produce. Actually that's not what he said, SB. He was making a comment about older people in general. Read it again.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 09:19 amNot how I took it. He’s right to an extent. Some old people are that way. And. Some are not.
As for why they are that way, my take, as you age you get paranoid about loss. Simple side effect of aging.
Even if I was, so what. I guess I hurt your feelings and hit a sore spot. Like I said some older people are stuck in the mud, can't admit change or they are wrong. YOU have never in all your years posting admitted being wrong, not once!Cranny wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 12:15 pmActually that's not what he said, SB. He was making a comment about older people in general. Look in the mirror, Red. You'll see a person with the same characteristics as you say other older people have. What goes around comes around.OldRed wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025 12:19 pmEven if I was, so what.
