Oh, good Red. So they looked like a Major League team today? Guess when they lose they're a AAA team and when they take 2 out of 3 from the Dodgers they "really looked good". It's like a yoyo.
Check the standings.
I do, Red, every day. There are roughly the same about of ML teams with a worse record than the Cardinals, as there are those with a better record. Which means they're an average ML team, not a AAA team.
Boy, this really bothers you for some reason, doesn’t it?
Yes, rat, when someone calls my favorite team a “AAA” team when 1/2 of the major league teams have worse records, the faulty logic rubs me the wrong way. And then compounds it by saying my favorite team may not be better than all the teams with worse records. It obviously bothers another poster too. Why aren’t you addressing that other poster too?
Cranny you need your own forum where no one can have an opinion different than yours.

Red -

Why don’t you, Rat, Goldfan, and your trolling buddy read Russell’s post from around 7pm last
evening. And in fairness respond to him too.

Because I'm able to recognize hyperbole when I read it, which you clearly are not. You'd think at your age you'd have learned not to take criticism of your favorite team so personally.

It was a stupid thread to start and say a team with a .500 record is a “AAA” team.

They aren’t “great” or even “good”. But they certainly are nowhere near as bad as some of the teams in baseball.

Then you have no patience with guys who are adjusting to the majors, Goldfan? Most players aren’t effective until they’ve gotten their feet on the ground. Let’s take an example, Liberatore.

2022 - 34.2 innings / 5.97 ERA
2023 - 61.2 innings / 5.25 ERA
2024 - 86 innings / 4.40 ERA
2025 - 113 innings / 3.98 ERA

I notice you didn’t include him in your major league players. Is he a AAA pitcher?

We must have the best manager in the history of the game then to have them at a .500 record and having won the season series vs the Dodgers and Phillies.

I would love for them to play really well down the stretch and keep Oli. It would be well worth it to see everyone's head explode over it

Is .500 something to be happy about? Is that a statement of excellence…..top of the league??

You can’t have half a MLB team “adjusting the Majors”…….by definition it’s not a ML team…..you just said it. And given a LONG history of this process in STL MOST don’t adjust

This thread proves, once again, that front office (donkey) kissers will continue to argue with anyone who has the slightest criticism of the Mo-ran or DeTwit...and they have the time to post 24/7... even to the point of trolling other posters...fortunately, they are harmless and just need some attention.

Amazing how a stalking troll shows up to talk about other posters instead of the subject at hand - an OP that talks about
a .500 ML team that is really a AAA team. Sheesh.

The Ownership and FO were very clear this last offseason
Yutes will play…..to determine if they can play
Isnt this the very definition of a AAA team. The literally told all fans that half a team of young players will be given the Entire year to prove if they are MLB material…..
Well looking at the stat lines…..I’d have to say Red was right……it’s a AAA team or a poor ML team.

Do you do another summer of Yutes to REALLY figure it out……
