Every time he bats, Brad goes ad nauseam on his stance, reaching balls away, blah blah blah.

True competition would likely do the trick.
Fighting for your job each day has a way of doing ghat.
Competition? Psch. That would interfere with all the respect the losing manager shares with "his guys."

Who is having a good week? Fermin, Saggese, and Hampson for sure. I would add Contreras and Walker.

Anyone else starting to think Arenado's playing as bad as he can to avoid getting traded?

There's so many homers in this city that love him, you really think he wants to face the pressure of a competing team and their fans expecting him to play like the guy he clearly no longer is?

Probably not intentionally playing poorly….

But he’s in a situation where there are low expectations, a forgiving fan base….and a soft media

A pretty nice rocking chair…

if he's no longer the guy he was, why would he have to try to be bad?

I'm actually wondering if that spill thru the netting and into that chair isn't the issue

Or always watch the opponent's broadcast if possible. That's what I do.

He’s not throwing games, he’s just a shell of the player he once was. Blooms job is either trading him this winter taking on most of his remaining salary or cutting him outright.

Naw, he had been stinking well before that. He looks close to washed up. And he doesn't need to be here next year whatever it takes. The contract should not play in a reset or whatever you want to call it. It serves no purpose.
