It’s why managing a game has some importance. You can win games as a manager and you sure as hell can lose games as a manager. This isn’t over but Oli isn’t helping matters much either.

What did Oli do? He kept cycling through effective pitchers so he could find one not on his game, so he could leave him in to cough up the lead. Oli's paint-by-numbers bullpen management costs the Cardinals games.
