This is exactly why I hate 3 auto outs hitting 7-8-9. You basically give away 3 innings with zero stress on the pitcher.

Saves him a popup 🤷🏻‍♂️
Did you miss 'Nado's pop up over the OF wall earlier ? Good distance on that popup

I was thinking the same thing. Tough with three guys who are almost automatic outs.

per comments of announcers in game 1, Walker hit off a tee yesterday and his wrist was hurting. Injection probably coming today. So he will still be out a bit.

That would be dumb
Why? Libby is sitting on the bench..
Why was he pulled if not injured. No treatment? No medical tests or examination in the clubhouse?
So? They saw the velocity drop that’s a reasonable reason to go check on him then pulled him so what?
Cheating... if not injured. That's what...

My idea prevents that horse [shirt]

Why don't we have a 99 mph 7th inning guy like Cruz?

So if a guy takes a line drive off his foot and they take him out because his foot swells but the swelling goes down and there’s no structural damage he can’t make his next start because they pulled him and he has to go on IL? Or a guy develops a blister and they have to pull him but he with treatment he can make his next start but now can’t because of that dumb rule? Or a guy feels something in his arm
They pull him for precautionary measures but after testing it’s structurally fine and feels better and he can make his next start he now can’t because of that dumb rule? Or if a guys hamstring tightens up he has to either pitch through it and risk tearing it or go on the IL? It’s a dumb rule

No, it's not. They didn't exam Libby, or give him treatment.

Another rock solid Rule: back swings that hit the opposing catcher, are strikes
