I'd be beyond shocked. No way a starter can sit that long after going 4ip and come back.
agree, unless you want to invite arm trouble

play ball
6 innings of BP
I imagine someone is being demoted to give us a fresh arm for the BP this weekend. I'm assuming that Svanson will be the easiest to demote. It's his 2nd day in a row, no way he'll be available Friday or Saturday.
Yep...he's not really looking too hot off the bat here.
Need a DP

Might not have been the best choice going to the kid right out of the rain delay Oli

who are you going to throw out there? Your long reliever threw 4 innings yesterday. Can't really use Maton and Helsley in the 4th inning. Svanson has to take one for the team.
we were screwed over by the DH yesterday, and Cincy allowing this game to start with Rain Delay on the way

Hit Walk and Walk leads to crooked numbers.
I would have gone O'Brien before this kid Svanson, his slider misses by 2 feet, one pitch pitcher

Rain delay cost us a quality starting pitcher. We were down 2-1, well within range. Now gotta score five to win.

Well that was worth the wait. Hopefully Birds can go Ded huntin' in their BP.
Could have been a lot worse and wth was Berrera doing in the OF. Fortunate that didn't end in injury or a drop.

Veteran like King would've been the better choice since he's probably handled many ML rain delays as opposed to the wide-eyed kid, then bring in the kid next inning.

That ab by Noot is evidence it's gonna be a shock to the system when ABS is finally implemented. Strike zone is supposed to be knees to the armpit.
These clowns have it drawn as belt to knees.

P.S. Thanks, Crav.
