Which is why I typically defer to a higher source. Either the old HF standards or simple Calder eligibility.
(Snuggy is "graduated" by both standards but I can at least understand why some people would still include him. Although if you are going to include him you have to include Mailloux(75 games played) also.)

I guess personally I just don't care who is on these lists. I trust my own views and our friends here as to who is a player and who isn't.
I watched Mailloux play. I watched Snuggerud play. Most of a season. I know what they are and what they can be.
The other guys I've seen like ten games of, yeah ok, they're prospects.
Buchelnikov, [shirt], who even knows what he is. All I have to go on there is two highlights online and Armstrong saying he liked him. That's not enough for me to rank in the top 5 of our prospects

I agree with Dr Zombie. I think Jirisek and Carbo should be above Lawrence. Draft placement means nothing. Kaskamaki and Trudeau aren't in our Top 10 IMHO.

It is a very deep pool. I would think guys like Pekarcik and Stancl would easily make most teams top 10 to 12. I think everyone in our top 10 have a better than 50 percent chance of being nhl regulars with pretty much the whole list having the possibility of being nhl players.

Generally agree.
Most of the time when I see people using "obscure" prospect standards, it's to keep a player from being considered graduated so they can rank their team higher when it comes to League wide rankings.
Which is another reason to defer to a higher source.

Seems like a young Perron to me. Good sturdy frame, wicked shot, can dangle guys, physical enough to be a good pest, but will drive coaches nuts with his play away from the puck. Hope he can turn into another Perron and then mature in the same way. Also hoping the Blues don’t let him go/trade him 3 times!!!
