Thanks Dan. My two cents on a successful season for JW would be a bunch of walks. That would mean that his pitch recognition is improving, which is one of his biggest flaws. A successful season for Walker would be more contact and more consistent contact for power. That doesn't have to come in the form of some breakout breakthrough 30-homer season. That can be 18 homers and a still a strong slugging. A successful season for Walker is improving upon his rookie season, getting back on that career arc, and showing improvement. That's key. He cannot have a stagnant year. Improvement in both decisions and outcome would be a successful season because it would put him back on track for that breakout season.
