I’ve been working in commodities (trading) for the last few years and a position with the Cardinals peeked my interest.
Had my second interview today.
Asked them some fun questions like; how do you see front office staff being affected during a lockout.
No [shirt], she answered; we know our perception is that we are cheap, but we like to think we are financially sound in case of downturns like during Covid.
Pretty interesting insight on how the front office uses software to project sales. They are using same system we do in trading.
Anyway, not super interesting. Been a member here since 2006. Would be funny if I got a job. Wish me luck on #3. Going to meet at the stadium next.
I guess my reaction is, no [shirt] a professional sports team is concerned with sales (business).
Sounds like an exciting process.

Posting on a cardinals board about a private interview you had with the Cardinals is an interesting move

Congrats. The Cards organization will be the winner when they hire you.
Obviously has what it takes to walk the walk.
Not on your first day, but maybe second, see about replacing the pretend manager.

3rd interview.
You have the job.
The company I work for will usually have the final two candidates for a third interview.
