A win today is badly needed.
From my perspective, what is badly needed is the sorting out of the AAAA players from the next Donnie. Once that is sorted, hit the eject button on a few and bring up a few more. We can lose most of our ST games if we can get that assessment in motion.

Are we allowed to get excited watching a 19 year old catcher not only getting playing time in spring training, but doubling in a run and taking a walk?

Gorman yesterday and Walker today are off to a crazy hot start . Both players are hitting . 500 this spring.

Why are so many worried about those two with countless posts on CT ? Two guys batting.500 ..Oli has these guys turned around . Probably in Bloom's office tomorrow demanding his extension for turning these two guys around

I’ve been in the group that have been against them moving Leahy to the rotation. He looked ok today, but it was only two innings. He was so good in the role that he was in last year, I just hate to see that messed with. Of course, if he proves he can do that for 6 innings, he’ll be a star in today’s game. It won’t hurt to find that out, I guess. The way Rajcic pitched today, maybe he can fill Leahy’s role from last year. That would be a nice surprise too!

I think you will see Oli using some of the SP to go 5 or under with a plan to pitch by committee. In HS ball, that is pretty common. It is especially common in the early part of the season.
