Well naturally the low attendance was due to the opponents, in this case STL. Had it been the Rockies, they would surely have sold out.

Ha. My attempt at humor.

Yesterday at a quick glance only the Guardians drew less than the Cardinals, 3385 to the Cardinals 3,746 unless I missed one.

That supports your debate. I can’t counter.

I live in Florida it's cold here right now. Nothing else to see here, although yes attendance will be down.

I guess we are going to have this post every week of the season? they are most likely going to have extremely low attendance. Everybody knows this including the front office. Calm down and accept it. this isn't breaking news

Tourism in general is down in the US overall.

In Florida , Disney has tracked that international tourism, especially from Canada has declined sharply. Florida has lost a big chunk of that market throughout the state. Unsure if mlb teams can track that stat but sure in Jupiter and other MLB camp cities, the loss of those tourists has an impact on baseball attendance,
It was an entertainment venue . Hotels, condo rentals, restaurants all take a hit in declining numbers too.

If Disney has less Canadian Visitors it would make sense that baseball teams have lost attendance too.

Yep and I'm sure ST sees a dip there too.

I’m genuinely concerned about you, Red. You seem to be focusing on what’s wrong. That’s a risky way to go through the day. Be a Tigger, not an Eeyore. Go Cards!

Don't be concerned about me. What's wrong with pointing out what's wrong? How will it get fixed if not? Just like the mess they are in with televising games. That should have been avoided and taken care of by now. I don't mind paying, if they get it where you can watch without streaming. And for those who will watch it on their phone is just silly in my opinion.

I am shocked fans aren’t flocking down to Florida full of excitement to get to view and get possible autographs of such stars as Gorman and Pallante.
