I did read that, until Nootbaar returns, Church seems to have the early edge in LF.
Best case scenario Church turns into a poor mans PCA, I will take that from him. Also today would be the day B. Ramos clears waivers IF he does, I think it's a 72 hour window. I know he is not the answer, but at that age you never know when a guy just clicks. And he has demonstrated some form of power in the minors
Church doesn't have near the power that PCA has. Yeah, I'd love it if he was anywhere near that kind of production.
Thats why I said best case scenario and poor man's version
I've heard it said that he's more like a John Jay with a better arm. Regardless, with Noot on the bench he'll get some playing time.

You just know that when the Dodgers come to town, that will be his first stop…
And I disagree with him being a fan favorite…….he’s not old and washed up….requirements for fan favorite status in Stl…
